Unframed, 19 cm x 13.5 cm (7.45 in x 5.35 in)

I boarded the plane at 1am, my eyes closing as the plane took off into the night. The air stewardess walked down the aisle, asking the passengers still awake to close their window shades. I did that, taking a last glimpse at the dark glass, my reflection staring back at me. The last thought that floated through my head before I fell asleep was Loki’s line from Infinity War (2018) - “I assure you, brother, the sun will shine on us again.” 

I woke up to light streaming in through the gap in the shade in front of me, so I pushed mine up - and to my delight, breaking dawn. The start of a new day, the start of a new adventure.
